- The International Statistical Ecology Conference, will be held at the
University of Kent, Canterbury, 6-9 July, 2010. Conference Poster. This is the second conference of its kind, and it is being organised by the National Centre for Statistical Ecology. The conference and associated workshops are described on the conference website http://www.creem.st-and.ac.uk/ocs/index.php/isec/isec2010/index. Early registration closes on the 31st March, 2010.

About the RegionThe British Region of the International Biometric Society was founded
in 1948 by eminent statisticians and biologists of the time, including
R. A. Fisher and J. B. S. Haldane. The British
and Irish region (formed in 2006) covers the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland and also The Republic of Ireland.
The general objective of the society is to promote and extend the use
of mathematical and statistical methods in pure and applied biological
sciences.
