195th Ordinary Meeting
The 195th Ordinary General Meeting of the British Region was a
one-day meeting held on Thursday 23rd November 2000 at the
Royal Statistical Society, 12 Errol Street, London EC1Y 8LX.
The programme comprised four scientific sessions.

In addition a poster session was held during lunch, with the
Cedric Smith Poster Prize awarded to the author of the best
poster as voted for by delegates at the meeting. The
winning poster was "Ordinal Regression Models for Plant Quality
Score Data" by Nick Parsons (Horticulture Research
International, Wellesbourne).
About 45 members and guests attended the meeting.
196th Ordinary Meeting
The 196th Ordinary General Meeting of the British Region
was a half-day meeting held on Wednesday 7th March 2001 at
the Royal Statistical Society, 12 Errol Street, London EC1Y 8LX.
The programme comprised two scientific sessions.
- Two talks on Epidemiology:
- Scrapie in the midst of the BSE crisis - design of a
national control and eradication programme
